Monte Vista

Monte Vista blossomed during San Antonio's Gilded Age, roughly 1890 to 1930, as home to many prominent oil and cattle families. Its 14 subdivisions cover about 100 city blocks of Queen Anne, Hollywood Bungalow, Georgian, Tudor and Moorish houses; it became a local historic district in 1975 and joined the National Register in 1998.
