Olmos Park

Olmos Park, next to Monte Vista, is known for lush landscaping and varied architecture. In the mid-1920s oilman H.C. Thorman bought the land from an Austrian count to develop an exclusive suburb; before that, the site was a training ground for US Army balloonists.
