Stone Oak

Stone Oak is a large North Side neighborhood west of US Highway 281 and north of Loop 1604, and the first master-planned community in Bexar County. Developers drew up its plans in 1985 on what was then ranchland, and it now has 35 subdivisions, including the Sonterra neighborhoods built around a country club.
